"Bucks hope to tame Lions for a third time"

It will be the third time that the sides have faced each other this season; the Bucks won 4-0 at Nethermoor in the FA Trophy having earlier seen off the Lions 4-1 at the New Bucks Head in the league. 

Marcus Bignot and Russ O’Neill’s side had a good Christmas period, notching a 2-1 win at York City in addition to home and away wins over Farsley Celtic. Since then, Guiseley have won two, drawn two and lost two. They currently sit in 9th place.

The Lions 16-goal top scorer, Aaron Martin, hasn’t netted since early November, but he remains the division’s joint-third highest scorer. Meanwhile, for the Bucks, five of Aaron Williams’ nine goals this season have come against Guiseley. Williams netted a hat-trick in the league fixture before registering a brace in the Trophy tie. And if Williams can maintain his scoring streak against the Lions, the Bucks could be set for another win this weekend.
