AFC Telford United Community Foundation is a registered charity (11833583) aiming to encourage more children to engage in sport and local activities.
The foundation in partnership with the National League Trust provides a range of sporting activities for the community throughout the year in Telford & Wrekin & the surrounding areas that promote all of the following objectives throughout all areas of engagement.
The Foundation has a group of qualified committed staff took pride in delivering an enjoyable programme to a wide of people across the community.
Each year, the foundation works with over 20,000 children across all our programmes and desire to develop footballing talent alongside creating a healthier community.
Our foundation ensures all activities are available for all regardless of age, religion, ethnic background, ability and gender, ensuring that the programme remains a key part of the community.
AFC Telford United Foundation will be hosting its next Soccer School at the New Bucks Head during the October half-term school holidays.
The five-day course will take place on the Goalzone pitches at the New Bucks Head and will be delivered by AFC Telford Foundation coaches.
Offering participants the opportunity to develop their skills participants will undertake technical areas of their game, including control, dribbling, passing and shooting.
A typical five-day programme will also include mini tournaments and plenty of opportunities for youngsters to take part in competitions and challenges throughout the week.
The Soccer School will start on Monday 28th October from 9am with each child taking home a certificate of attendance signed by the AFC Telford United manager Gavin Cowan and a family ticket to attend AFC Telford United v Boston United on Saturday 2nd November.
The cost for the full week is £50.00 or £12 per day.
